Hi! Thanks for stopping by :) My name is Aria, I am a 22 year old masters student studying European Politics & Society.
A little bit of background about me: I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in Dallas, Texas. I went to St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas for undergrad & majored in Global Studies and double minored in Computer Science and History. My regional focus was East Asia (specifically China) & my concentration was International Security and Conflict Resolution.
Why I live in Europe: I studied abroad in Hong Kong the Fall of 2019 and my life has not been the same since. I decided I wanted to pursue my graduate degree abroad and I was interested in policy, specifically regarding European integration. I am currently a part of an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree program where I will study European Politics & Society with a focus on EU Policy-Making. I am spending one semester in Prague, one in Krakow, and my final year in Barcelona.
My passions include reading, writing, Japanese Ramen, Bruschetta, and dried mangos. I run on coffee and red wine. My favorite time to eat is breakfast time, but dinner is actually my favorite "meal."
Some of my favorite things: Dogs in sweaters, french fries, the smell of wood, & laughter.
